Governance pillar
JEMS is committed to a sustainable, transparent and ethical approach through compliance with all applicable regulations, including the highest security standards ISO 27001, GDPR. Our corporate governance is reflected in the creation of a CSR department reporting to the Chairman and CEO, and a member of the EXCOM. The CSR department is cross-functional and relies on the operational and support departments: legal, HR, marketing, finance, information systems and digital.
JEMS has implemented rigorous policies to combat corruption and ensure the security of information.
Among its noteworthy actions, JEMS stands out for its due diligence programs on third parties, and regular audits to prevent breaches of information security. Monitoring procedures, such as the setting up of alerts to report any behavior contrary to its ethical values, enable us to maintain a high level of vigilance.
An ethics charter has been adopted, covering the principles of integrity, transparency, respect for human rights and environmental protection. This charter has been released to all levels of the organization and to our stakeholders. JEMS has set up regular training programs to raise awareness of ethical principles and CSR issues among all its employees and managers.
I. Certification
JEMS is Cybervadis certified through the company’s cyber risk assessment platform.
We are proud to have been awarded the Gold label by Ecovadis this year, in recognition of our commitment to sustainable and responsible practices. For the past 10 years, the annual Ecovadis assessment has been a self-imposed requirement to ensure our continued progress and meet the highest sustainability standards in our sector. This ongoing commitment enables us to measure our progress, identify areas for improvement and reinforce our positive impact on society and the environment.
JEMS is certified to ISO 271001, the international standard for information security management. Risk management now includes threats linked to unforeseen events such as climate change, which we have taken into account in the sustainability of our company.
At JEMS, we have decided to follow the trajectory of the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi) to structure our commitment to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. JEMS is one of only 5% of digital services companies with an SBTI commitment. This approach enables us to align ourselves with the objectives of the Paris Agreement and actively contribute to limiting the rise in global temperature. In January 2024, we formalized our commitment, with the aim of reducing our GHG emissions by 50% by 2030, including targets for scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2034. This approach helps us to make transparent and effective progress towards a more sustainable future for our ecosystem.
II. Labels and charters
Since 2014, JEMS has been a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact and has integrated Sustainable Development Goals into its CSR strategy. We have selected 8 SDGs, responding to the sector’s priorities such as reducing inequalities, gender equality, good health and well-being, as well as combating climate change. This commitment drives us to develop concrete initiatives and strengthen our collaboration with our stakeholders to maximize our impact and foster a fairer, more sustainable future.
Since 2019, we have signed the Diversity Charter, affirming our commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within our company. This initiative is part of our mission to create a working environment where every individual, whatever their origin, gender, religion or differences, feels respected and valued.
Actively combating all forms of discrimination in order to build an inclusive society and a sustainable world. That’s why we’re committed to the “Les entreprises s’engagent” community, and are a referent for the Ile de France community.
At JEMS, the “Great Place to Work” certification is a true recognition of our commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of our employees. We believe that happy and engaged employees are the key to our success and positive impact on society. We are committed to continuing to improve our working environment to ensure professional and personal fulfillment for each and every one of our employees.
We are proud to commit to the Planet Tech Care manifesto, a program that underlines our commitment to sustainable and responsible practices in our digital services and solutions. Since becoming part of this approach, we have made eco-responsibility an annual objective, in order to measure and improve our environmental impact on an ongoing basis.
III. Responsible purchasing
At JEMS, we have adopted a responsible purchasing charter that formalizes our commitments to ethical, sustainable and responsible purchasing.
This charter aims to integrate social, environmental and economic criteria into our purchasing processes, in line with our values and sustainable development objectives.
This charter guides us in our choice of suppliers who share our commitment to sustainable practices and respect for human rights. It enables us to build a network of partners aligned with our vision of responsibility and sustainability.
By choosing to work with us, you are supporting a company that puts social and environmental impact at the heart of its priorities, while contributing to more responsible and efficient projects.
